There's always a first time...
So finally here it is my first blog. Over the years I used to use my weekly newsletter to express my thoughts, or share some insights I'd had during the week, but from today this will be the daily source of those thoughts and I will probably choose to expand on some of them when I relaunch the newsletter.
Today I struggled, physically I feel absolutely drained. I'm not sure if I am fighting off yet another bug or I need to pay more attention to my dietary intake.
I've always found that it's not what I have eaten today that makes a difference, it's what happened two days ago.
Monday's workouts were always the hardest of the week, mainly because I virtually didn't eat on Saturdays.
I missed yesterday so here's my morning and evening workouts:
Morning Workout 7.45-8.35am 1 teaspoon of NO Xplode
Seated DB Shoulder Press 18 x 21, 26 x13
DB Chest Press 30 x21, 40x13
Seated DB Shoulder Press 30x8
DB Chest Press 46x8
Lateral Raise 12x13 14x13 16x13
Cable X-overs 70x13 80x13 90x13

Alternating Arm Incline DB Chest Press 22x13 24x13 26 x13
Evening Workout 5.30-6pm
30 minutes of high elbow drills, interspersed with 25m and 50m Front crawl
This afternoon was meant to look like this but to be honest I was in all sorts of trouble after my warmup:
Afternoon 3-3.30pm (my worse time of day AND no food since 9am!)
2x200m Front crawl warm up 30 seconds between
4x25m individual medley: Butterfly, backstroke, breastroke, front crawl
2 x Straight through with 30 seconds rest
2 x reverse order FC, BRST, BCKST, BUT
2 x Drills-
Butterfly 3/3/3 (single single double arm)
Backstroke 3/3/3 (single single double arm)
Breastroke double kick pull
Front crawl finger drags or catch up
6 x 50m
Breatstroke easy 25m / Front crawl sprint 15 seconds recovery
400m cool down
Decided today to have some fun with my writing. I have a list of titles that friends are giving me so I have decided to write in different genres to make it more interesting and fun from a creative perspective. These are decided on the throw of a dice:
1 - Warhammer 40k style story (because I like them!)
2 - Horror story
3 - Children's story
4 - Detective / thriller story
5 - Erotica
6 - Non-fiction
