The First 7 Days...

I started this a week ago. Fully intending to use it to track my eating habits, and name and shame me... Which it is highly successful at. I can't begin to say how many times I went to the fridge this week to steal a chocolate bar to then walk to the cupboard and take out 5 almonds, just because I knew I'd be accountable.

This weekend was weird as well. I can't remember the last time I slept past 5.30am on a Saturday or Sunday, this weekend I didn't even stir till 9 on Saturday and 10.30am this morning, that kind of thing never happens for me. For probably 20 years I have lived close to being an insomniac. Struggling to sleep 2-3 hours in a row, surviving on 4-5 hours a night.

I am interested to see if this is diet related or something more.

Huge creative week, written lots, started drawing and even started learning all about 3d printers, wow this is going to be an area that's going to revolutionize the future.

My training restarts tomorrow and I am chomping at the bit to get started. This week will be a real indication of whats going to happen, because its how I normally live my life.

Come on! I need one whine this week.

Itunes.

Has anyone noticed that this year is has slowed down to a snails crawl?

Ok I download from lots of different sites. Videos, books, training programs or design files. AND although I am not the biggest fan of Virgin Media, in the last couple of months my download speeds are consistently fast, on everything except Itunes.

A book took 30 minutes to download. Yesterday it took 10 hours to download 8x45 minute SD episodes (521MB each stating 60-90 minutes!).

When I contacted Apple, it must be my machine is too slow had I thought about upgrading.

Ok, over the last 25 years some of the biggest and richest companies lost their market share for one reason, the public fell out of love with them. Why? Because they forgot that without customers they have a business.

Apple's correct response should have been "thank you for bringing that to our attention, we will pass it to our tech teams to see if they can improve our service."

The beginning of the end?...
